17 plead not guilty to public nuisance at Southwark Crown Court

All 17 Just Stop Oil supporters who appeared at Southwark Crown Court today pleaded not guilty to the public nuisance charges they faced.  No bail applications were granted so the 7 previously on remand have been sent back to prison. No dates have been set for trial. 

A further 12 Just Stop Oil supporters are due at Southwark Crown Court tomorrow 7th December to face public nuisance charges related to M25 gantry actions on the 8th November.

Tez Burns, who has been on remand since 10th November was granted bail today and is due to be released from Bronzefield prison.

This brings to 25 the number of Just Stop Oil supporters in prison on remand or serving sentances for taking action to demand that the government halts new oil and gas licences.
